Au Canada, cela repr\u00e9sente une quantit\u00e9 exorbitante d\u2019antibiotiques, ainsi que des frais et un fardeau importants pour la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et les patients<a href=\"#_edn1\" name=\"_ednref1\">[i]<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Environ 50 \u00e0 60\u00a0% des femmes souffrent d\u2019au moins une infection des voies urinaires au cours de leur vie, et plus de 25\u00a0% d\u2019elles d\u00e9veloppent des infections r\u00e9currentes des voies urinaires n\u00e9cessitant un dosage \u00e0 long terme d\u2019antibiotiques<a href=\"#_edn2\" name=\"_ednref2\">[ii]<\/a>.
